Ya know, if those guy over at Area 51 keep making photos like this...conpiracys are never going to end. ...Don't get me wrong, active camoflage is already possible with current technology. In fact, it's quite effeciant and effective. But, not to this degree. To the best of my knowedge (or at least what's currently made public), we are only able to use meta materials to bend one or two elements of light around a surface, not the full spectrum. And, I believe that is limited to specific shapes at the moment. Although, the articles that I read about this are probably about a year old, so the technology may have made further advancements. As well as advancments that haven't been made public....for obvious reasons. The only aircraft that I'm aware of that has been rumored to have this sort of technology experimented with on it, is the Boeing Bird of Prey. And, that was back in the early 90's.

All in all, I think the idea of being able to "cloak" an object is probably around 15-25 years off. It's definetly possible, but will require much more experimenting that has currently been done. (again, to the best of my knowledge)

However, this pic is a fake. (in fact, it just looks like the man is holding onto the railing and holding his foot up. The wet spot outlining the shape of a Raptor is a nice touch though.) Anyway, show me a "certified", non-manipulated photo of someone standing on a "cloaked" aircraft...as well as in a non-optical-illusion inducing perspective...then, I'll entertain the idea of the technology being that advanced.
  • my names been cloaked....
I totally agree on that matter but even I could show you someone on top of a cloaked aircraft... Just use green screen. But they could have just put a raptor there and then moved it after it had stopped the ground getting wet. I looked up the boeing and that's somethign I didn't know though odd body design. They said it was tested but not being released or so teh public knew does that mean they still are working on it or have dropped cloaking? I mean you can cloak a plane but if you managed that what use would it be exept for scouting as soon as it went to warfare there'd be not much point because the plane would be realsing bullets and missiles like heck... anway good comment, there going to have to think of something better to fool us i mean seriously...
