Hard Landing - 1 out of 3 landing gear remaining isn’t bad.

By admin | March 13, 2008

Every pilot has a bad landing. There were times I thought I’d sent the landing gear through the wing, but I must say I never did. Here’s some pictures of a couple of pilots who actually did. Actually, it’s not fair to say for sure this was a hard landing because, oddly enough, this collapse didn’t happen on the runway. The aircraft landed, and was taxiing clear of the runway when both main landing gear failed. I’m perplexed at how that could happen, and am very interested in any comments with an update to this story. Like they always say, “Anyone I can walk away from.”
