Let me guess.....this guy was NOt an ex-military jet driver...Hmmm.....??? And the wind sock in the video wasn't 20 kts, not even close. 5 kts maybe. I realize all pilots can't be ex Navy fighter drivers, BUT...aborting a landing is an option. Trained or un-trained.

Lucky. Next time if landing into wind on a short wet runway, the pilot might consider evacuating with the fuel control switches & battery off?! :)

How were the engines started? Was there someone in the cockpit... I couldnt see any pilots on the boat...
