Jordanian Government to Proceed on RJ Privatization |

Royal Jordanian said that the Jordanian government will proceed with RJ’s privatization.
According to the Jordanian government, the privatization is “on track”.
Current plans are to sell 74% of Royal Jordanian to the private sector, while the Jordanian government aims to retain the balance on RJ’s ownership.
Royal Jordanian’s plans are to renew it’s medium-haul fleet, according to RJ’s President and Chief Executive, Samer Majali, who spoke on a recent press conference in Ammam to celebrate RJ’s 43rd anniversary. Mr. Majali also estimates RJ will transport over 2 million passengers this year, an 8% increase.
